Sydney and The City - Sexier Than Pamela Anderson
'Tis the capital of Australia in everything but name. 'Tis the most brand recognised city in the world, more-so-than the "king of the hill" according to Sinatra, New York, New York. 'Tis the place for celebrities and our troops to indulge in and play with its many toys. 'Tis one of the most expensive cities in the world, with the second most expensive housing prices in the world, after Los Angeles and equal to San Diego according to economists. 'Tis the capital of the new year. G'day and welcome to Sydney, they say. Capital of the Southern Hemisphere Sydney is the homeland for almost all Australian and non Australian celebrities and politicians down under. It is the heart of the Australian economy, which houses the Australian Stock exchange and The Reserve Bank of Australia, it is the fashion and entertainment capital of the country and party central of the pacific.

NEW APPLIANCES, OLD-TIME SERVICE
The appliances at Stephan Georis' new Seaside showroom involve some of the most up-to-date technology available to consumers: double ovens with built-in rotisseries, ultra-energy-efficient washing machines, built-in coffeemakers that store, grind and brew coffee without a thought, and spring-cushioned kitchen drawers that ever-so-gently slip into their nestings. But Georis' new business, Peninsula Vacuum & Appliance, is built upon some truly old-fashioned ideals: Invest in quality, then plan on keeping it for a long, long time. "People used to pretty much count on buying something that would last them a long time," said Georis. Yet these days, many of the big-box stores consumers buy their appliances from don't have service departments, so when a vacuum cleaner or other device from one of the stores stops working, many owners are as likely to toss them in the trash as they are to seek out a repairman.
Bridget gets ready for motherhood
Bridget Moynahan has been seen buying baby stuff, as the father of her unborn child apparently romances supermodel Gisele Bundchen in Rome. The actress - best known for playing Mr Big's wife in Sex And The City - was spotted at hot toddler boutique Petit Tresor in Los Angeles, splashing out on kit for her upcoming delivery. The mum-to-be visited the store with a male friend and spent around 4,000 dollars on items like navy blue joggers, a blue blanket and a stuffed bear. Although she has yet to reveal the sex of the baby, it appears that she's shopping for a boy. Meanwhile, the baby's father, American football star Tom Brady, has recently been out and about in the Italian capital with Leonardo DiCaprio's ex. Bridge and Tom split up last November and he quickly fell into what seems to be a fairly heavy-duty relationship with Gisele.
